Multihomed IP Transit

C4L's core service is its Tier 2 Multihomed IP Transit Network. Multihomed Transit has many advantages over buying a standard Tier 1 connection. The main 2 are that it provides you with the fastest route possible for your customers and it provides you with the diversity that should one of the Tier 1 providers have downtime or maintenance, your connection is unaffected and continues. We also mix all of a peering agreements providing you with the fastest possible connection off our network in the UK and Europe.

In addition, C4L provide the diversity of multiple multiple routers and multiple connections to ensure 100% uptime for your connection. Our core network is distributed over multiple diverse buildings with 7 Cisco 6500s distributing the routing across 20+ Gigabit upstream and peering connections in the UK alone. Each location has diverse routes in and out of the building feeding the rest of our network, with the ability to connect at over 30Gbps between all of our core sites. We do all the routing work for you with:
